Well that's good @Eve7 At least you didn't get wet.
My day going ok, just busy. Took mum up the street, washed, ironed, in the process of cooking tea.
Just got a call about an appointment time to assess mum for the nursing home. Came about quicker than I thought it would, which was good.
Much on for the rest of the day?

You’ve done a lot @Snowie will your mum want to go to the nursing home?
I don’t have anything else planned for the day so might start another book.

I'm really not sure about mum @Eve7 She said she wanted to go but she has also said she feels like she doesn't have a choice. It really depends on her mood and what day it is.
We have an another tour of it on Thursday, so will see what she says after that.
What book do you think you might start?

I’m starting Spirits of the Ghan. My friend says it’s good background for our trip next month.
I hope the visit with your mother goes well. 🤞🤞

Have you got your trip all sorted?

I just have to book my flight to Adelaide and return from Darwin then it’s all sorted @Snowie . I’ve booked a tour in Alice Springs but I’m not going on to Kakadu for an extra $2000!!!

I hope it is something that you can look forward too @Eve7 It's exciting planning for holidays!!
Hopefully the flights don't cost too much. More spending money for you!

I keep hoping the flights will get cheaper but I think I’ll be out of luck @Snowie but I might not need a lot of spending money sitting on a train for 3 days. I’m starting to get a bit excited 😛
Do you have much on this week?

It's so good when we can have something to look forward to @Eve7
I've never been to Darwin before so am looking forward to all your stories about your adventure.
Got mum and I gp tomorrow (different times), nursing home tour and have ECT on Friday.
Will have to take her food shopping at some stage too.
Have you got anything on? When is your specialist appt.?

I have pdoc Thursday morning and knee surgeon Thursday afternoon @Snowie but not much else this week.
Ill do a training session with a few kids going to Perth for a national comp but that all depends on this cyclone that’s supposed to come in later this week.
