Do you like going to the cafeteria? I never liked it as I would rather just sit by myself and have a meal, which I did anyway. Not one for really making friends.

Thats a shame about the pdoc hon. Is there anyway that you can as for the lovely pdoc or is it whoever you get given?

It'll take awhile to get the balcony done. It goes all the way around the house.

I usually try and sit by myself in the cafeteria @Snowie as I’m not here to make friends. Sometimes I’ll chat to others but not often.

The lovely pdoc isn’t here anymore so this is the one assigned to me. I just don’t connect with him and that’s one reason I hesitated to come in. Hopefully I’m only here for the week but I’ll ask to change if I’m in again. I have to see this guy every 3 months to keep having visits from the nurse. Not happy.

Enough of my moaning, what are you up to this evening?

I am the same @Eve7 I'll chat to others when I'm in line for my meds but thats about it. Really stay to myself.

Thats a shame about the nice pdoc hon, especially when you had made a connection with her.

It is hard when we don't have that instant connection. Hopefully you are not in there for long.

I guess at least you are getting the nurse visits. Hopefully they are helping.

Just watching tv and making myself a coffee. S is working till 11:30pm so have to stay awake to pick him up from work. Will be happy when he is 18 and can drive himself or even better drive home on those late nights!!

I’m just watching some tv too @Snowie but I’m not really concentrating. There’s a movie in one of the lounges tonight but I’m not going, can’t even remember what it is.

Haven't thought about tomorrow yet. It's meant to be sunny here so might try and get some more painting done. I really need to go up the street but might wait till Monday when it's quieter.

Is there anything that you can do tomorrow in there?

Nothing on for me tomorrow @Snowie just some random meeting for those on another program.

My meds have been increased so maybe that will make a difference but I’m scared that ect won’t work and then what??

Understandable to have those thoughts @Eve7 Somehow we always seem to second guess our treatment. I do think that's normal hon. The what if.... can be scary.

I do hope that the med change and the ECT does help. Did they say how much ECT they were thinking of doing? I know for me it normally takes awhile for me to respond to treatment. But in saying that, everyone is different and does respond differently.

I should have come in earlier @Snowie now it’s really tricky with Christmas and our family all planning to meet up in Sydney. I’ll have 3 sessions this coming week and then if I’m ok I can go to Sydney.

Trying to take it one day at a time. I’m going to bed now. I hope you have a good night.
