oh @NatureLover I don't think I could live without my tv and netflix!
Is that by choice?
In response to: Re: Morning has broken

Yes, by choice @Snowie . I can't stand the noise, the conflicts on TV, the yelling ads. I crave peace and quiet and prefer reading.
But I guess I could have the radio on with the nice sounds of the cricket.

Thats fair enough @NatureLover If that is what works for you then no point changing.
What sort of books/topics do you like reading?
In response to: Re: Morning has broken

I like thrillers, mystery, crime if it's not too gory, some biographies, some chick lit if it's funny or has good characters. @Snowie
I was actually brought up without TV. We had one but it was for my father to watch, and my mother watched the tennis. It was rare we were allowed to watch anything. So my brother and I love reading as a result.
@Eve7 good luck with your Uni results, especially the semester results. I know you work hard and always do well 🙂

That sounds like a nice mixture of topics @NatureLover to read.
Do you buy them or go to the library or download them?
I grew up reading a lot too. So does my D.

very happy with my Uni results @Snowie amazed actually lol.
My Mum used to go to the cricket with her dad as a child and watch Don Bradman so that is where her love for the game started.
I read your post on your thread about just surviving and I understand that feeling all too well.
I'm in Sydney @NatureLover but going home tomorrow where it's been raining all week! I have the family coming over on Sunday for Thanksgiving (we have Americans in the family) so I'll have a bit of work to do.

Well done on your results @Eve7 Never doubted you for a second.
That must have been amazing for your mum. Still got it on here.
I hope the Thanksgiving day goes well. Never been to one or had one before.

Congratulations on your Uni results @Eve7 ! Lucky you missed all that rain lol.
@Snowie I borrow from the libary, can't afford to buy books plus nowhere to put them!
Another hot day here in Melbourne. I'm meant to be going out socialising but haven't quite decided yet to go.
