It's 28 here @Snowie but I fly south tomorrow for a week so that might change very soon. I'm glad you were able to see your psych this morning and I hope tomorrow goes well for you. Maybe the top up ECT is just what you need right now.

I will enjoy parts of my time away but I am very anxious about it all @Snowie
I really hope the ECT helps.

I hope the good parts outweigh the anxious one's @Eve7
It's always hard when our time away makes things feel harder for us. Would rather just stay at home.

You’ve had snow today @Snowie !!! Amazing, I don’t know what to pack but I think I’ll just take one warm jacket to be safe.

I’ve just returned home after visiting a friend who lost her mum yesterday. We chatted for ages about our parents and the way we deal with the end of life.
Sometimes when people pass I think it’s not too bad to face the end of life and my thoughts start to run away with all sorts of ideas. I don’t know if I’m ok or not now but saying more on here might not be wise.
I need to eat and finish packing as I’m going away tomorrow for a week.

I think it's normal to run with those thoughts/ideas @Eve7 especially if we deal with SI ourselves.
I hope you get your packing done hon and get something to eat.

Maybe @Snowie but I need to be careful.

@Eve7 death certainly has a way of rattling us to the core. I think it's natural to end up with pretty hectic thoughts, and in fact I believe contemplating our own death can be healthy (fantastic book on this concept is Staring at the Sun by Irvin Yalom).
