Thank you so much, @Eve7 ❤️
I believe your long service leave starts today... How are you feeling about having left work?

Morning @NatureLover @Eve7
I hope things are going ok for you both.
How does retirement feel for you @Eve7?
Sending lots of squishy hugs 💓💓

I just read this in an article entitled “Retirement Essentials”.
2. What are your dreams?
Many people can’t answer this rather pointy question. They simply don’t know. They often feel more comfortable recounting their worst nightmares. It’s true that we can sometimes feel so ground down that we don’t allow ourselves to dream. Well that’s not for you today.
I won’t tag anyone but my goal is to dream in 2024!

Up early at stupid o’clock to go for a run with my grandson before going out to breakfast. Home for a nana nap and watching the day go by.
I hope all are well @NatureLover @Snowie @Emelia8 @Zoe7 @Bow

LOL you made me giggle @Eve7 I would definitely not be getting up early to go for a run - hope you enjoyed it though.
The day has been okay - watching the tennis this evening.

I like watching the sun rise @Zoe7 and now I’m not working I’m going to kee getting up early.
I watched a bit of the tennis and then switched to Vera.

I have been sorting out some files whilst watching the tennis @Eve7 Doing a little at a time to get things sorted for this year. I figure a few minutes a day is much better than hours just before we go back - and it is better for my back. I did manage to get outside and do a couple of things today but not over doing it. I am feeling a lot better but still have to restrict what I can do.

Yes, it’s far better to do our work in manageable chunks than leaving it til the last minute @Zoe7
My uni starts back next week and I’ve been doing some of that each day and hoping I don’t leave my assignments until they’re due.

We'll have to keep a check on each other to make sure we are pacing ourselves but still getting things done @Eve7 I am already feeling much better about going back to work. It is 4 weeks away but the pain has nearly gone - just the odd twinge here and there. Unfortunately I still ache in my hip, leg and foot but cannot afford physio at the moment. Need a new referral when I can get a gp appointment so I can get rebated sessions.
