NZ was expensive @tyme
Japan is amazing. Did a homestay over there so stayed in a village. Loved the cuisine. Would defiantly go back there.
Electric blanket is a must as well as my weighted blanket. Feel so safe and cosey underneath it. Best investment I have brought for myself.

I just grabbed a cheapo electric blanket to 'give it a go' because I'd always heard how 'dangerous' they were @Snowie . It's been such a godsend. I'd be happy to go out to buy a more expensive one. At the moment, I'm having issues with staying at my own house.
My niece always wants me to have sleepovers at hers. I'm going bonkers, but it breaks my heart when she cries and cries and cries. She stays up waiting for me to go over, then my sister msgs me to go over.
I seriously just want to be in my own bed with my electric and weighted blankets..... the kids wake up too early and spend the morning playing and jumping around... I just want to sleep in!!!!
At least your kids are older now.
And Japan, I'd definitely go.

oh dear @tyme your niece sounds exhausting! It's hard to say no to kids, especially when they are crying. A sleep in sounds like a luxury!
Luckily mine are teenagers so will sleep all day if they could.
@Eve7 have you ever been overseas?

Yes @Snowie I have been overseas. H and I lived in PNG for a few years when we were first married and I’ve been to Europe a four times. Also Fiji, Hawaii, Bali, NZ , Vietnam, Taiwan and USA.
We also went to Disneyland, the Olympic Games (Atlanta and Barcelona) plus a few other places.
I love Europe especially Romania.

You have travelled heaps @Eve7 ! It’s amazing to see other parts of the world.
I always remember when my daughter was a little bit younger, when we would be on a hilltop and she would make the comment ‘look mum I can see the whole world!’ Id think to myself, oh you have no idea baby girl, there is so much to see.
I’ve had the privilege to travel a bit too, but I wanna see so much more!

My boys used to climb on top of the clothes line and say they could see the whole world!
I hope your day is ok 🩵

@Eve7 I hope you can do more travelling. There are so many beautiful places I want to go.
A campervan trip around oz would be great. You can take your time and stop wherever you want.
Have had some friends rent out their house and taken 6 months to travel oz.
My day is ok, done a lot this morning already.

My new couch came this morning @Snowie so I’ve spent most of the day trying it out and feeling good about myself as I’ve just received an HD for my last Uni assignment.
About to hit reality again though.
