@Former-Member , @RMG perhaps you would like to share here, you are not alone. My husband with bipolar ii was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in March this year. He had surgery, came home, was readmitted to hospital as he got an infection. He is now home and I am struggling to get a routine going.

Mr Darcy is getting weaker, fatigue has set in, the palliative care nurse equated this fatigue to a battery that loses its capacity to recharge with the maximum charge attainable getting less and less.

@Former-Member ... its a very accurate analogy. I'm really sorry that is happening to Mr Darcy. It sounds like it wont be long now, and all we can ask is that he is kept comfortable and pain free for as long as possible. Please take care of yourself in the process Darcy. Thank you for thinking of us. My Dad is due for his next scan in 7 weeks. He's losing weight, has naps in the afternoon and won't make any plans or spend money for things like new glasses because it might just be wasted 😔
He says he's not in any pain just tired and no energy. The Dr has said if he goes downhill to get in touch for chemo because I'd he waits too long then treatment won't be an option 😔
