Re: Confused and alone
Hello @Lonelygirl I also found it difficult to manage kids after separation (and before). Can I ask what kind of impulsiveness? There are lots of people on the forum with different experiences.

Hi @lonelygirl
I've not meet you before, so welcome to the forum.
I just wanted to respond to your post and I do hope you are getting some help to deal with your issues in your life. You may find talking through your anixety with someone who specializes in this area, and to learn ways to ground yourself and to reduce your anxiety levels.
Some of your story reasonates with me and especially hormone imabalnce and can really affect your mood and anxiety level. Hope you are able to get that treated and managed. It may make quite a bit of difference. Some of the anxiety could be a combination of things in your life.
I find it really diffcult with anxiety too and I have found reducing stress and exercise and diet really important for my overall wellbeing.

Thanks for answering my question so directly @Lonelygirl. I did not mean to trigger you into that degree of pain .. I wondered if it was other types of things. I hope you are ok. It is a bif thing to admit to self harm and Suicidal ideation in a post.
So unfotunately I now need to be honest like you and say yes ... sometimes it is better if I stay indoors ... sometimes a little impulse like that can catch me off guard ... yes in some ways I need to be on guard with myself.
I hope more people respond, the best benefits of this forum is the huge range of people and experiences.
I struggled with those things for a long time, gradually regained control of my home envirnoment and my decision-making and gradually those feelings receded. I still have issues and am on meds, but it is not as terrifying as it was.
@Lonelygirl What kind of things work for you ... you dont have to answer ... but it helps to open up about positive things too ... both polarities are a part of each of us.
