Hey so I was I've been thinking about something you said.
How you said you were depressed and suicidal and sleep deprived for years but you got out of it .
How?
I've been like that on and on most of my life, I had about 3 months recently of being somewhat stable, that was very foreign to me.
Can I be completely upfront with you on something

Yes, of course - just remember this is a public forum... @Lee71
I'll answer your other question, of how I got out of it, in another post...

I really believe you can be like that again, Lee.

How?
The first bit of improvement came when I started taking multi-vitamin tablets.
The second (big) improvement came when I got a new psychiatrist who changed my anti-depressant meds straight away to something stronger, with a high dose.
At the same time, she started me on a sleeping tablet that I'm still on today. It's actually a sedative that when taken at night, acts as a sleeping tablet. I'm not allowed to name it, but all my psychiatrists have been happy for me to be on it long-term.
The fourth improvement came with talk therapy over many years.
Hope this helps, @Lee71 .

Thank You for sharing that with me I'm in a bit of a spin at the moment but I will try to keep posting.
I too have had my antidepressant changed and increased, that's what helped me be stable for those few months. I'm in the process of changing my night medication , slow process the doc says.

Sorry to hear that you're in a spin...hope everything is OK...
I'm glad the change of anti-depressant helped give you that 3 months of feeling better. I have a lot of hope you can have that again, Lee.
Good luck with the new night meds...really hope they work. @Lee71
