Something’s not right

Depression (not a post for sympathy & attention, just venting)

Depression (not a post for sympathy & attention, just venting)

I always seem to have moods that fluctuate - I could be feeling ok, or content, then I get depressed, or vice versa. No reason behind it most of the time. Yes I have a Psychiatrist and am on meds. And no this post isn't for attention and sympathy, just needed to vent I guess.

It just seems like whatever I do and say and how much I try to be a good person and support people, I'm not good enough and am left out - there's always people better. I'm a failure. I try my best.

I'm just worthless and many other negative things, sigh.

@Former-Member I'm talking to KHL on the webchat now. I just feel like I shouldn't be here (alive)

Sorry for worrying everyone and being this way @outlander @Zoe7

Re: Depression (not a post for sympathy & attention, just venting)

@outlander thank you and I'm talking to KHL on the webchat yes. Might try Lifeline too later. I can never get through to Suicide Call Back Service. eHeadspace will tell me to leave because I used them last week sometime.

Re: Depression (not a post for sympathy & attention, just venting)

Good @Former-Member chat to them now then get back to us later.

I can hear what you are saying but it is the constant saying of the same thing when everyone has told you otherwise that is unnecessary. You are wanted and welcomed here so moving on as you have said you have done needs to be backed up by not constantly bringing it up. I know those feelings will not go away straight away but putting yourself in the same position as last night would not be good for you or anyone - so I encourage you to keep connecting with the people you have been, keep talking about your feelings about life in general and gain the support you need to talk through that.

@Zoe7 thanks. I keep saying it because I can't apologise enough but I've moved on from it, seems like others have too. Just a misunderstanding. I do also forget I say things, in person too. I'm not trying to be repetitive and annoying. Sorry.

This thread is fine @Former-Member unless you are not feeling right about being here.

Re: Depression (not a post for sympathy & attention, just venting)

@Zoe7 thank you. I hope I'm not annoying you or worrying you or anything, same to everyone here.

I try to keep this to myself and yes my parents know everything. I'll tell my Psychiatrist when I see him. Its always hard for me to cope in between seeing him.

If you want to know more about why I'm feeling this way apart from other things going on for me, here's this thread:

Need advice please (info below).
