Something’s not right

Depression (not a post for sympathy & attention, just venting)

Depression (not a post for sympathy & attention, just venting)

I always seem to have moods that fluctuate - I could be feeling ok, or content, then I get depressed, or vice versa. No reason behind it most of the time. Yes I have a Psychiatrist and am on meds. And no this post isn't for attention and sympathy, just needed to vent I guess.

It just seems like whatever I do and say and how much I try to be a good person and support people, I'm not good enough and am left out - there's always people better. I'm a failure. I try my best.

I'm just worthless and many other negative things, sigh.

Re: Depression (not a post for sympathy & attention, just venting)

hey @Former-Member
its up to you if youd like to remove the thread but my thoughts are you may have maybe misinterpreted what Sherry has said.
When several threads are created in such a short time, sometimes it can be hard for your supports to keep up. so like yesterday we were chatting on one thread about how your feeling etc and that's where I went looking for you earlier but noticed youd also created this thread as well and wasn't sure which thread to go to as they were quite similar.
My interpretation of what Sherry has said is quite similar to what ive just mentioned here in that maybe sticking to one thread for longer amounts of time may be more helpful to you as well and might help you feel more included as well as more members will be able to keep up with your story.
its up to you if youd like to delete threads but im not sure its necessary. what do you think?

@outlander @Former-Member yeah maybe I did misinterpret it and I apologise but I'm going through my profile and asking for them all to be deleted (not trying to spam mods but still)

Re: Depression (not a post for sympathy & attention, just venting)

maybe don't have them deleted @Former-Member you can leave them but maybe pick which thread you feels most relevant to you and stick with it for abit? it doesn't matter if your mood changes you can still chat on the same thread. you might notice on several threads the topic changes depending on how that members feeling too.
What about staying here on this thread for now and just moving forward with responding to the other members whove also replyed here to you as well?

Re: Depression (not a post for sympathy & attention, just venting)

@outlander I don't know, I'm just requesting for them all to be deleted

@Former-Member sorry I took what you said the wrong way, I wasn't trying to be rude or hate, I'm sorry if it seemed that way and if I snapped. I get your point so thats also why I'm requesting all my posts are deleted. Like I said in another post I do have AVPD (Avoidant Personality Disorder) which I'm not using as an excuse but it makes me fragile and sensitive including sensitive to insults, criticism even helpful criticism etc

up to you @Former-Member
perhaps you could challenge your own mh and leave this thread, you could ask for the title to be changed or leave as is now. that way you don't have to create another thread and can continue chatting to all your supporters here now that we know where to find you

Apology accepted @Former-Member 💜

I'm sorry too. 😀

And I think its probably best I dont respond to you any more @Former-Member ... you seem to take offense at anything I say. I certainly do not want to hurt you.

@Former-Member @Former-Member

Hey you two, just wanted to help out if I can -

I don't think there's any issue with starting new threads and posting in different places Musicfanatic_x. It might just take others a bit longer to respond that's all!! With regards to the thread deletion, I'm unsure which ones you want deleted and why, feel free to flick us an email and I can have a look. I haven't seen any threads that I feel need deleting though just FYI.

I believe Sherry wanted to be helpful, by giving a suggestion that I'm sure was hoped to improve your forum experiences. Up to you if you want to take it on board or not.

Always helpful to remind ourselves that online communication can be tricky sometimes, it might be a good opportuity for you guys to have a looksie here at our conflict strategies thread
