Tough Times

I thought I'd open up this discussion for anyone going through a rough time at the moment and want to get some extra support.
I am struggling a lot at the moment dealing with a range of things. One thing a struggle with is Anxiety. This is something I deal with everyday. I wake up with it every morning and fall asleep (when I sleep) with it every night. Some days are worse than other days. Distractions play a big part in coping with it daily. At the moment being stuck at home schooling my kids is my biggest distraction. It helps most of the time however sometimes it can be a real struggle to stay present and calm. We as a family try to go for a walk everyday. We take our family dog with us. Another distraction for me is cooking but this can be a challenge as I struggle with motivating myself but when I get into it I create some nice things. Today my 8year old son and I made oat based banana and chic chip muffins. 😋😋

I hope everyone's day has been a good day filled with self care and motivation.

My sister is very supportive with mother and visits often, takes her to her appointments does everything she can and I help with that when I can. But it's always been this way, I am the child she trusts the least but has always abused my kindness, the moment I put my foot down she tells me that I am horrible and that she should have given me up at birth. Still don't know why I even talk to her. @Lee82 @outlander @Former-Member

That's terrible babe...I can't believe that but they are our mothers and no matter how they treat us we always go back for more. I don't know why that is but that's just what we do...

My favourite movie is The Departed, I've seen it so many times I nearly know every word lol. Cheers me up and makes me laugh.

My favourite movies apart from that are Matilda and One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest is good too. And Terms Of Endearment

I don't watch many movies or much TV or read much but I should, I have so many movies, DVDs etc that I haven't watched yet and a few books like autobiographies of musicians I haven't read yet, I'm boring

@Former-Member , thank you you are very kind. I think that having to be Anonymous here is a good thing because we get to see what a person is like through their words not their looks. You can be the most beautiful looking person in the world but if you treat people unkindly the you are ugly on the inside and that is where it really counts. You most definitely aren't boring because you prefer to read. I am a complete bookworm just right now it's too hard to focus so I put the movies on.
