Tough Times

I thought I'd open up this discussion for anyone going through a rough time at the moment and want to get some extra support.
I am struggling a lot at the moment dealing with a range of things. One thing a struggle with is Anxiety. This is something I deal with everyday. I wake up with it every morning and fall asleep (when I sleep) with it every night. Some days are worse than other days. Distractions play a big part in coping with it daily. At the moment being stuck at home schooling my kids is my biggest distraction. It helps most of the time however sometimes it can be a real struggle to stay present and calm. We as a family try to go for a walk everyday. We take our family dog with us. Another distraction for me is cooking but this can be a challenge as I struggle with motivating myself but when I get into it I create some nice things. Today my 8year old son and I made oat based banana and chic chip muffins. 😋😋

I hope everyone's day has been a good day filled with self care and motivation.

I'm glad you're reaching out @Former-Member - you are valued here, as you can see from all the support from your fellow forumites! It can be hard to see it sometimes, and feel like we are a burden, but I promise you would be highly missed around here. I hope your chat with lifeline was helpful, and that you feel a bit lighter - if not now, then soon.

Thanks @Jynx , still talking to Lifeline but I might end the chat with them shortly because yes this person is kind but they're not helpful.

My emails are now working, I'm going to send an email shortly to the SANE Forums email & Help Centre one. I'll send that through in a few mins. Just need some advice although I might ask it here please.

well ill be up for a while @Lee82 if you need someone to talk to or distractions.
Have a cracking headache but just took another dose of meds so hopefully will help abit.
dreading when mum comes home.
Is there anything you want to chat about that might help ease the SH monster?

I'm here if anyone wants to talk about anything, no pressure to anyone though, I understand. Just trying to be supportive.

I ended the chat with Lifeline, the lady was nice but wasn't helpful and took a while to reply, as in I said something and she didn't even reply, so I gave up. But I'm safe, yes.

I'm sorry you have a headache @outlander , I hope it goes away and the meds help.

Oh, almost forgot - @Jynx @Former-Member I sent an email just then, my emails are finally working, my apologies. I'll check them tomorrow. I sent the email to the SANE Info, SANE Forums & SANE Help Centre.

I might ask here too if that's ok, or in my Need advice (Info below) thread? Is that ok everyone, especially ok with the mods?
