Tough Times

I thought I'd open up this discussion for anyone going through a rough time at the moment and want to get some extra support.
I am struggling a lot at the moment dealing with a range of things. One thing a struggle with is Anxiety. This is something I deal with everyday. I wake up with it every morning and fall asleep (when I sleep) with it every night. Some days are worse than other days. Distractions play a big part in coping with it daily. At the moment being stuck at home schooling my kids is my biggest distraction. It helps most of the time however sometimes it can be a real struggle to stay present and calm. We as a family try to go for a walk everyday. We take our family dog with us. Another distraction for me is cooking but this can be a challenge as I struggle with motivating myself but when I get into it I create some nice things. Today my 8year old son and I made oat based banana and chic chip muffins. 😋😋

I hope everyone's day has been a good day filled with self care and motivation.

Seeing him and him being here for so long which has never happened before just brought back everything from that night. I felt everything through out my whole body. I was being triggered left right and centre and I did my best to hold it together until they left.
the minute they left I went into panic mode. I had flashbacks coming from every direction. I felt every touch, I smelt every smell, I heard every word from everyone of them that hurt me. i heard myself begging for it to stop. It all consumed me all at once. I have never felt that like that before. When it all stopped I was completely bedside myself. It was way too much pain to feel all in one moment. I felt there was no hope for me. I felt like I have no reason to be here anymore. i wanted to never feel that pain again. It was like everything just went dark.
I really dont remember parts of the night to be honest.
i wasn't thinking straight and it's just lucky I didn't have enough in the house cause I would have succeeded.

Hey Shaz, I just wanted to thank you for your support last night. I was not in a good place and felt unable to share what was happening for me as the darkness had started to eat me. I will be sharing soon as it's still in my head and still eating me. When I do is it ok to tag you? @Shaz51
