Anyone want to chat?
Hi all.
I'm a new member and not sure what to say (I've made a couple of threads already though).
So would anyone be up to chatting, about anything - good or bad?

actually theyre probably right, more than 600 tested for 9 cases, and those had sy,ptoms/were overseas/exposed to known case. so avg person with a sniffle is unlikely

@outlander this morning - Friday - I went to Woolworths at 8am - before work -
I got 2 packs of facial tissues so that was good...
I still have a few more boxes so enough to keep going for a while ...
I was lucky with the dunny rolls as I got Quilton rolls from Coles Express previously
so I don't need to worry until next month ..but I still want to get some as soon as possible...

@outlander good news ...found out at the Woolworths near my place they had toilet rolls today....hope can get some tomorrow ..Sunday....
I went for the relaxation session in the morning...
they might be closing for corona...she said I would get email when Medicare
let them know...if they close the appointments would be over the phone and
she said I would have to pay the full $$$ ...she said only special cases could claim for the phone appointments I'm not sure how this would work
I got a confirmed appointment in May so I might have to cancel it if they close
..

@outlanderSome of the customers are acting a bit strange - when they are
at the counter making payment - they are not relaxed they are staying a bit further back and stretching out to reach the EFTPOS machine - that kind of thing
or they are trying not to get too close to the counter

Yeah its the new social distancing laws @jamesle2015 nothing personal. I kinda do the same thing esp living with someone classed as high risk.
Hopefully this will have eased by may, that would be really great then you can also have your appointment as well

do face to face appointments....
I changed my appt to early June...
it will probably be over the phone I hope Medicare will cover by then

@outlander the government said universal telehealth....we will find out tomorrow...I hope they cover all MH plan sessions....
btw how is your shopping going?🙂
I got my shampoo at Woolworths today and Coles white serviettes as well.....2 boxes of Coles tissues good to see them back on the shelf....
the shampoo is the 1.90 one Natures Organics I always use the green apple one .....
When I was at Woolworths I saw they had 24pk of Kleenex dunny rolls for 11.00....the 8pk Quiltons 7.50

Struggle with change at the best of times and really struggling to cope at the moment more and more. The telehealth may be an option for some people but I worry about those that don't have access to much data or technological capabilities to be able to manage these things. So many more vulnerable people are going to be left behind and forgotten over the next year. Telstra is offering 'free' extra data for those who were already on a plan or who buy a certain amount of recharge. am exhausted.
