@Shaz51 I'm doing really well. I have been doing liver protocols so my liver isn't so liverish! I put it down to the other meds. So am getting healthier. Plus I'm post menopause so this weight gain is an issue for me.
We have a power saving scheme in Victoria called GoodGrid. You minimise your electricity usage during peak times over summer and get paid a reward each time they have an "event". Last year I made quite a lot of money. I'm just aware we have outages and there isn't enough electricity to go round.
Last year I put Renshade foil on my windows and it cut down the radiant heat entering the window. It cost me over $200 to buy the foil and its been a lifesaver in this heat. Today will be moderately hot - 30 degrees.
Next year will save up to put foil in the roof as well so will be prepared for the following summer. With foil on windows and foil in roof it means my house will be comfortable without airconditioning. They have done science tests on it and if its 40 degrees outside it will be in the comfortable in the 20's with both foil on windows and in the roof.
I'm also organising a long range winter cold/flu plan for myself by taking certain organic supplements/herbs to build my immune now. I know what to do in the event of a cold/flu and have a prevention strategy, onset strategy and acute strategy. Its just so I'm not out on a limb. But I've learned some great ideas.
Last year I was using masks as a barrier prevention and people were looking at me strangely in the street and now with the Coronavirus everyone is wearing masks. I read you only see people wearing masks in Asian countries but its good practice to get in the habit of anyway. I learnt about it from a website specialising in lifestyle information.
Thats about all I've been doing. Not much is new. Just focussing on exercise and eating healthy. I'm a typical virgo in that respect but in every other way am an atypical virgo in that my house is a bit messy and I'm a very tolerant person! <so funny>
I hope you are well, take care and bye for now.
