I'm a first timer to the forum, My I say that the expectation of christmas really sucks all the people you want to hear from when your happy are likely to wish you a Merry Christmas but when you feel down.... It,s just so hard to hear how RU and not feel the weight of shame / self stigma so goodluck with that just another downer I can't cope with depression wrapped under the tree

Yes it is hard when people put pressure on you and have expectations and don't understand mental illness. It can be difficult to work out when it comes to people and relationships. I hope you have an alright day@seagul.
