I am struggling with healthy eating as Mr Darcy is encouraged to eat a high energy diet.

@Determined noticed salmon at a good price in Aldi catalogue this week -comes in a 4 fillet pack.

I got 2 fillets (110g each) for $10 @Former-Member

$/kg price is 😬 but the meal price worked out ok so worth it I think.

Works out cheaper at the deli but deli staff where we shop are grubs (touching stuff and cross contamination etc) so I don't get anything there.

And cheaper per kg means we were eating more than we needed to so another + for the lot we now get.

My "go to" salmon is Woolies home brand from the freezer $6.30 for 2 X fillets (total net weight 250g from memory).

@Determined once made cauliflower rice to go with a salmon dish and it worked well (made cauli rice from scratch in blender - was much cheaper).

Oooo that sounds nice.
