Hey, it's Snuchu

Hey, it's Snuchu

Hey, everyone... Especially those I've been talking to lately on this fourm...

I've been hospitalized. I went on a 1 hour pass to my home to make sure everything was fine so I decided to hop on here and let you guys know that I'm in a hospital. I have a phone and data, but it seems to be really hard to explore this forum with a phone, so I gave up.

However if there's a chatroom you guys use, I might hop by if possible...

I'll try my best to keep you guys updated. 🙂

Hi @Snuchu it's really good to hear from you. I do think it's a good idea for you to tell the nurses what the voices are telling you to do, and that it's been getting stronger. Sorry to hear that your going through this. It's good that you're not so depressed now. Sometimes the meds take a while to work, sometimes they need adjusting. It's only if the nurses know everything that's going on that they can best help you. Hoping things improve soon.

Hi @Snuchu 😊

Glad to hear from you !

Yep, I agree with @eth, I reckon it's a good idea to let the nurse know what's happening with the voices. They can probably help you with the volume control on it at least ....

See what else you can get out of the hospital stay, like therapy programs, while you're there.

Thinking of you 💐

Hi @Snuchu

I agree too with @Faith-and-Hope and @eth

It would be good if you could have a chat with the nursing staff. They are there to help. Pls take care, I have been thinking about you. xxxooo

Re: Hey, it's Snuchu

Hi @Snuchu
Escaping from the psych ward isn't a good idea. I've done it too many times. The police always find you and then you end up in the locked ward or even worse a locked cell.
It's not nice. I know all too well.
Talk to the nurses and tell them what the voices are saying. Let them help you. I know how hard it is to do this. Damned hard!
Becoming a fugitive as you run from the police is horrible.
Have courage and fight for Snuchu. Don't let the voices win.
Sending you strength and calming thoughts.

Re: Hey, it's Snuchu

I'm on a day pass, I just graduated from 2 hours passes to day passes. Victory!

I told my nurses about me running away, and they comforted me and didn't call the cops when I did try to escape - they simply followed me and helped me.

Mood-wise, I'm a lot better... I'm out of the depression! Sadly, though, I'm still hearing voices and having psychosis.

That's fabulous news @Snuchu It's so hard to tell the nurses about that sort of thing. Don't let the voices win!

Hey Snuchu hope you're enjoying your day out and great that you graduated to a full day pass.

Sorry to hear that the voices are till bugging you, but it's good that the nurses know about them now.
What are you doing with your day?
