Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

Hi All

There is a thread operating on the Lived Experience Forum under Night Shift where members who are having trouble sleeping for any reason give a bit of a shout-out, to see if there is anyone else sleepless and looking for company. It's been such a great thing, I thought I would start one over here too.

I have had the odd few nights where I have woken up on and off, and my kids have been having a bit of trouble some nights too, depending on what has happened during the day.

Being a carer can be lonely too, so if you are making an after-midnight cup of something hot, and wonder who else might be doing that too, maybe have a look-in here and see if anyone else is about.

Hi @Shaz51, also @Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member @Determined @outlander and anyone else around.

My hubby has GERD as well, and continues to take reflux medication. At least you know now what has been causing all your symptoms. I expect the further tests will just be confirming all this?

Today is my birthday! 58 today. Been really busy though, and really havent had the time to enjoy it yet. Perhaps tonight. Meaning I'd best get onto preparing some dinner, or we wont eat.

Sorry for not being around much lately, just been totally swamped, both mentally and physically I'm afraid. Thankfully hubby's eye is slowly improving, and hopefully by the time I need to travel the 12 hours to stay with my brother from Thursday, he may be right to drive himself around again. Either way I do need to go and visit my brother. His psych was on the phone to me the other day and warned me that he is at serious risk of self harm right now, and needs someone with him 24/7.
