That doesn't sound like a failure to me, just having a bad day,
Its a bit sad when people around you, especially family, can't be more supportive of you, but you can not feel responsible for that. Its their social inadequacy not yours.

@Former-Member I think you mother maybe just doesn't get your art. That pic you did for turtle island was very clever it's possible I don't know cos I don't know her of course but it's a suggestion. Or she does like it she was just busy... anyhow your art is great whichever way.

The lump would be worrying... when is your doctors appointment for checkup on that? I'm sorry you have re-hurt your ankle... that sux!! Hope it is just a twist and it clears up in the next few days... but I now there are the complications of your previous injury to it.

Your sister probably thinks scaring you is funny because she doesn't realise how much it hurts you. That's sad 😞 I suppose explaining it to her wouldn't help much?

I'm sorry your puter has decided not to co-operate. Hopefully it will reboot okay and you can get your study done. I know how important that is to you so fingers crossed on that one.

@Appleblossom - generally don't take what people say personally. I have my moments. The funny thing is I am my own worst enemy because I have a tendency at times to put myself down. To be honest the thing that gets me the most is what people say about others, particularly my friends. It upsets me more when others are targeted. I know I am odd....weird and I accept that.

@Former-Member - sorry to hear that. Sounds like you are having a bad day. Do ice and elevate your ankle. Hopefully it is a small sprain and you will heal quickly. In terms of your sister, if she knows how it impacts you, she should really be more aware of your feelings. For your mum, try not to think that she thinks your art is bad. It might be that she is not into art and so does not appreciate it. I have friends who just see a painting/drawing etc as its face value and not into the "soul" of the art.
