@Smc Really enjoyed your post. It made me think about a number of things. First off the interactions and seeing behaviour patterns when observing interactions online. You are one of the few people I have ever seen actually voice that, but I use it all the time to learn about people. Sometimes in text it takes a little to see but mostly the patterns do emerge, sometimes lack of patterns too can be telling.
I love the pic you posted with it, it's so representative of my mind actually! lol now that's a scary thought isn't it? Mine is categorised, not necessarily by the Dewey system but stil it is all organised with some pending so those books are in filing cabinets but always trying to place them in their "homes". Very rarely part with any of them because there's nearly always a place for all.
The part I found most intersting is one I hadn't considered. That being the novels vs life imposed dramas. I looked at your words and my mind started a frantic ifile sort . (It is prone to this when given a new piece of information, it's chaotic delight 😉 )
The conclusion? You are sooooooo right.. OMG I never had this aha moment before but yes... I too have unconsciously gravitated to almost excusivly the reading matter you mention.... poetry, gardening, cookery, art, fine craftwork, history, theology, sociology, sustainability.. suppose I can throw in my quantum physics but to me that encompasses all of those anyhow... how interesting.
I think somewhere a few months ago something akin to this flickered through my mind but I didn't really masticate it, but now you have raised it I'm nodding vehemently and having a real aha moment.
Thank you!! That's why I miss you when you aren't around, because your posts so often make me think and I love it!!
