I assume his answer was "like royalty" @Shaz51 ?

Depending on who asked I can understand that statement getting under his skin @Shaz51

I have had some pretty ignorant advice/ feedback from people who have no idea.

Hey @Shaz51 Sorry to hear that. I know people generally don't mean anything when using the typical small talk etc, most probably aren't really even very aware of what they are saying - not helpful when speaking to someone with high sensitivities though.... I find it so hard when Ms 19 is upset by things like that, mostly because there is nothing much I can do to make it easier for her. It takes her longer than others, but she does process it.

I hope you & Mr Shaz can find some nice kind of distraction to help re-focus. Do you think there might be an opportunity to revisit later & talk about ways that you each take care of the other? Maybe there are things he does or can do, so that he feels like he does take care of you too in some way?
