Have a few jobs on the list @outlander, hoping to get to the movies this afternoon. Need to get my rear end into gear and make a start. 😀 @Former-Member is well ahead this morning with meal prep done.

Yep, nothing beats the old crock pot for ease and convenience. Throw on some raggy rough tough meat, some veges and flavourings, turn it on low for an all day tenderization process and .... voila ... tender fall-off-the-bone flavoursime economical meal. Ahhhh .... I hope. 😉

plans have changed today

was doing catchup mowing but it is raining

so had morning tea with mum and my cousin has come up for the weekend and is organising morning tea for tomorrow and wants me to get everything ready

Yes @Ali11 @Shaz51 the aromas eminating from the kitchen are pretty enticing.

My team in the AFL (my favoured type of footy) is the Sydney Swans. In the NRL I follow the Canberra Raiders.

The Swans play this afternoon up in Brisbane, against @Zoe7 's team the Brisbane Lions. My Swannies are not doing very good this year and are near the bottom of the ladder. Lots of new young players in the team, plus hit by lots of early season injuries have resulted in a slow start to the year. Do you follow any footy Ali?

The poor Swannies @Former-Member, they definitely aren't having the best season, but when you've got green players it does take a couple of years to build them up. Sport (playing and watching) is something that I love to do in my spare time! What other sports do you like to watch?

Umm .. I love all sport really. Maybe not motor sports though. I used to play lots of different sports. But age, injuries and lack of time and opportunity now means my sporting prowess is pretty much limited to the television remote.😐
