My AB's were all finished yesterday.

The nurse came this morning, she was concerned about the 2 wound holes that are not healing up.

She said she thinks that I need more time off work (to recover) - that I'm not ready to go back to work next Monday (as scheduled).

I just don't see how I can push heavy wheelchairs for miles (as is the job), & drive 100Km (most days) - when that might give me another wound split, or strain things.

I see the Surgeon tomorrow, for my post-op Review appointment.

I need to ask him some questions, as he doesn't volunteer any information (usually).

Taking a list of questions a sensible option @Adge esp if surgeon not forthcoming with information. Trust appt goes ok.

Hello everyone. Had a day out with our town Garden Club today, including Devonshire Tea (or Coffee) at the first garden we visited. We sat out on the paved area next to the property owners' house, with a beautiful view over their garden of the surrounding hills.

All still very summer-dry. One news headline was saying that the year-to-date rainfall is a record low.

I've grabbed one of my "assorted fabrics" boxes and sorted it more or less into fabric types. Sewing is one of my perennial "want to get around to it" things, but maybe if I can get to the point where I know what I have to work with it might actually happen? Here's hoping.

@Adge Healing takes as long as it takes. It sounds like you def need more time. Utterly stupid if they dont give you certificate as the nurse has confirmed infection. Hugz

I indulged tired headachey feelings and stayed in bed til 12. Have osteo, car trip and choir tonight.

Looking forward to it as we are starting to do some things by memory. I have been lazy and relied on music, but it feels good to sing things ... by heart ...
