Its been an interesting day. I have just spent six hours rewriting a letter of demand for my ADHD and depressed husband to his employer. They have decided to terminate him and have woefully under stated what he is entitled to as a pay out.

I am now eating chocolate!

Wondering what will happen next. I sense it is going to be messy.

I am pretty annoyed my husband has worked for his employer for 29 years and suddenly he has gone from applying for a very senior position to losing his job. Despite him being told no one would lose their job as part of the restructure. It has been like a bomb shell.

I am worried about how we will manage financial.

On well, now I wait and maybe have a glass of wine. The weather fits my mood - very cold and wet. Kind of comforting.

I hope you get a good rest-up over the weekend @Former-Member. It’s been a bitsy-piecey sort of messy week for me, and I am feeling the need to regroup within myself, but I have also done some artwork I am really happy with.

That’s awful @Ghost, and sooooo stressful. Good on you for standing up for your rights, and I hope it gets resolved fairly without much fuss ..... although you can’t make the sacking in lieu of a promotion fair in any sense. I am glad to hear that you are self-caring, even if reaching for chocolate is not a usual go-to for you ..... desperate situations call for chocolate in my book. It should be in medical kits.
