That sounds nice listening to the rain.

To be honest - I am not really having a good day - don't really know how to articulate the situation properly. Feeling like I have ruined things at the moment and now I won't be given a chance to resolve it. Concerned that when I am given the opportunity, I shy away from it cause it scares me plus I worry by being honest that will affect my partner's MI.

Yeah unfortunately that is all I can do is give it time....being new to MI - I still struggle with how best to communicate with my partner. Or shall I say how not to shy away from it.

Could use a cuppa now to put me to bed. I am so tired but of course my brain is running a million miles with thoughts.

I know what you mean about the mi ... it's been a steep learning curve with my hubby ... and how much I can say about what, and when, which is not much these days .... he's only coping by pretending it doesn't exist .... which means we have to pretend it doesn't exist .... it's just survival mode for us re that issue for now ....

Today had its moments, but it was okay over all. I got to pick up some gear I needed to run around and find, then put it together across the weekend for my D1's Kitchen Tea that's upcoming ....

Do you drink chamomile tea ? It has natural calming properties ....

The good thing is that it is good to know I am not alone so I don't feel like a complete failure or that am doing something wrong.....hopefully he will talk to me and I will have the courage this time to talk to him and we can resolve it and develop expectations on the same level going forward.

That has to be so hard having to pretend but unfortunately we cannot force people to accept it. They need to recognise it themselves....

OHhhh kitchen tea is that similar to high tea?

Yes I do but we don't really stock any. Might have to consider doing that now.
