@Molliex I am glad you're going to see the psych specialist, keep talking in the meantime here and with your gp and husband. Know that people love you, and you have been through so much but you are strong my friend xx

Hey there @Angels333 ,

I just wanted to pop in and say I hope the rest of your evening was ok. It sounds like you have some good strategies to cope with how you're feeling. I'm sure you're aware but always good to remember to ring a helpline and have a chat if you need-

Lifeline: 13 11 14

Suicide Call Back Service: 1300 659 467

See you around,

Sphinxly 😀🐣

@eth @Molliex @MDT @Former-Member @Zoe7 @Faith-and-Hope @TAB @Shaz51 @BlueBay

I have so much anxiety, I feel so much stress. I completed my last essay in module 1 today and I also have an interview for next Wednesday for a volunteering position. The thought in my head is 'how can I possibly be any use to society with my own mental illness'

Re: Self Harm

You've helped me a lot over the last year6@Angels333. Having experience with MI gives you a completely different type of understanding and insight. It's valuable. You're valuable.

Sending hugs. I hope you've something yum for dinner tonight 🌻💚

Re: Self Harm

Finishing your assignment is a massive achievement @Angels333 so be proud of yourself for not only doing it but working through your anxiety around it.

As for the volunteer position - your own experiences of mental health are an asset. You understand how hard it is to do anything when you are anxious and can empathise with others because you live with a mi. Use that knowledge to your advantage - your know what does and does not work for you and they must see something in you to have given you an interview. I have no doubt you will be amazing
