So I have been redeployed for 3 weeks now and the work is hard, but it's work all the same. When today my regular boss phones me and said swim school is starting back on Saturday with a reduced capacity. Normally there are 15 instructor and the Saturday there will be just 1... Yes that's right my boss asked me. I have so much anxiety about it. My boss knows I have mental health issues but she asked me all the same. I am partly proud that she asked me but terrified all the same. I have some concerns that my colleagues will be jealous... something I understand... I am over thinking the whole situation maybe.
I have so much anxiety... my boss also said I can't have any equipment other than a kickboards, no toys or noodles.
I'm so stressed about it. My boss said she would call me tomorrow to discuss the situation some more.
Sorry for going on about it but Mr Angels is stressed himself and doesn't want to listen tonight.
Love to you all ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

youll be alright, yes, thats something to be proud of @Angels333 just read article found thru news on ph about Claire Weekes who was a CBT pioneer think , she had personal experiences of well, fear of fear, she had rapid heartbeat, something I can relate to recently, and turns out fears related to that kept making it happen . Anyway that was my understanding.
Talking through things should help
Have a Plan A B C etc maybe

Yes @TAB I haven't done much CBT but my DBT skills are coping ahead. Trying to imagine myself working and also being super prepared get there early.
I get a racing heart but I also have a miserable time with a negative internal dialogue telling me I am useless at my job plus a cohort of other demeaning thoughts. I don't know if it's proper fear with my anxiety it's so horrible and my Psychiatrist won't give me more meds for it. I can take a PRN but I am trying to get by without it lately. I just have to live through it.
XOXO

Hi @Angels333 Hopefully your worries will leave once you're in the pool and it all comes back to you. It's a testament to your ability as a teacher that your boss has asked you first. Take care.
