Self Pity [Poem]

Self Pity [Poem]

Please explain my existence,
Society and the distance
That only amplifies
This self imposed rubber band resistance.

Decorated pillows with tears,
My armor but a ragged quilt,
Alone, confused, helpless,
Masturbation and guilt.

I must have murdered an angel
In a life before my own,
And now I'm tortured, punished,
Alone, Alone, Alone.

My brain is not mine to enjoy,
Crazy echoes and swirling.
hate
Shouting,
No!
not ever! YOU
What? (at?at?at?) is that...
Fr ag me nt s
Tears, despair,
Echoes
Echoes
Echoes.

Why?
STOP.
There, there, Alice.

Ever, ever, ever,
Never.

Oh God I think I'm dying.

Or maybe I just wish.

Wow @Former-Member - that is an amazing poem. Perfectly balanced. The order rules and then the chaos comes...

Thank you so much for sharing this.

Sending hugs and happy calming vibes your way... 🙂

Your poem has so much more power than the title suggests. Thanks for sharing.
