Feeling Good (I THINK)

Feeling Good (I THINK)

Having a very unfamiliar sense of calm & wondering if this is what 'normal' is? Not high, not low, just don't care and, it doesn't matter. Lucky i have zero demands or commitments. Doesn't mean i feel nothing - the last 12hrs there's been waves of emotional pain with memory intrusion but it doesn't stay. Just wondering if its the calm before the storm or something? Does anyone else know what i mean?

Hi @Former-Member
Yes it could be the calm before the storm but it could also indicate that you've entered a period of balance. Enjoy the wonderful feeling but do remain vigilant of any warning signs that might indicate a mood swing.
I'm really pleased for you.

Hi @Former-Member

It's good to read that you are in a better place presently. When I have these moments of equilibriums I grab them with both hands and savour them. Dont question it - let yourself enjoy it.

I have always found throughout life that in order to heal and/or reach that balance you have described I have to be in an environment to do so - reasonably stress free. This lack of stress in your life is helping you to balance out your emotions - feeling relaxed enough to let go of any painful memories when they assail; going with the flow (letting go) and not swimming against the tide (holding onto) - by not harbouring/dwelling on painful memories which can rock the boat of emotions. So instead of tipping over you are staying afloat. Enjoy the smooth waters 🙂 xx

Enjoy the calm @Former-Member

I have often felt a sense of ah-ah and this is what it feels like ... for many experiences others take for granted. You have had enough on your plate ... any respite is well deserved.
