Hi @Adge good to see you! How's your weekend looking?

I'm going to my sil's studio complex for an open day later this afternoon. Other than that will be just pottering at home between now and Tuesday.

@eth My favourites (that I used to do) are tap and jazz, and I am also partial to contemporary if the mood strikes. I danced competitively for 10 years, stopped completely in my teens, and only started doing it occasionally a few years ago.

@Lise07 you must have some real dancing skills with that background. Are you competing again these days? My main dancing these days is to youtube music by myself in my little cabin!

@eth I like to think I do :). These days I practice martial arts both competitively and as an instructor, and am trying to get into dancing again simply as a "creative release". It's difficult because I am a naturally competitive person and a perfectionist, so doing something "just for fun" is a challenge

What is there to see at your sil's studio @eth ?

Is it painting, sculpture?

I'm trying to make myself go out, to do my grocery shopping.

No success yet, still in zombie land (even after another coffee).

Need a massage, but don't feel up to going out for one - plus the expense is always a cause of stress.

@Lise07 what sort of martial arts do you practice?

@Adge there are something like 2 dozen arts and crafts people at her studios and a lot of them will be exhibiting and selling their wares. My sil is an amazing painter.

Did you know that there's a lot you can do with self-massage? There's heaps of info about it online if you google it. That's what I do on myself quite often. Trigger points are great and so is PNF stretching - again you can google them.

@eth Unfortunately if I tell you it would give away my secret identity. I'll just say it's more striking (kicks/punches) than grappling (holds/chokes)
