yeah hadnt been following weather there @Bunniekins , was mildest winter in 20 years when I went there lol

My son is doing ok in hospital, he still gets agitated, but his Dr said he is doing well on the ward. The Dr called Friday night to say that my son's heart rate was high, which could be a side effect of the medication. He's being put into "normal" hospital over the weekend to have a heart monitor on, then he will have a scan...

The Dr said, he's drinking his weight in coffee though, lol, it could be that! My son is also frustrated as he can't smoke cigarettes.

He is still delusional. The Dr. advised not to call or visit over the weekend as my son doesn't cope well with any changes to his routine. So I will check in on Monday after work.

@TideisTurning, I had an appointment with a social worker and he gave me some good advice. They are going to arrange NDIS for him, for when he leaves hospital for more support...so it's not all left up to me.

I feel your pain, friend. I do not usually weaken...but my Irish Wolfhounds and Maltese-x doggos are chillin' on the bed with me, trying to escape the horrble humidity on the Coast, today. It has been my experience that meds and high humidity do not mix well.

Side note - There is nothing better than being part of a loyal and loving wolf pack; it is the only place that I feel safe, loved, and and at peace with myself. I am currently in a f$*k the world phase at present, which seems to be working for me. The harder I try to step out of the darkness and gain a seat at the table in the real world, the worse things seem to get for me. I hope other members are having a better go of things than me.
