Hey @Libra & thank you so much @eth for tagging me in this! That sounds really tough, not knowing what's going on. How'd it go with his treating team? Were they able to shed any light on what's happening? As far as what to say, my first instinct would be to be honest about what's happening- you could also ask if there's a social worker you could speak to as they might be able to help navigate what's happening, tell you about options available to support both you and your son and keep you updated about what's happening. In my experience, they will often attend the meetings at hospital so they're kept in the loop about what's happening. I'm also going to tag @Former-Member in case she's got any insights to share 😊

My son is still in hospital, and will be in for a few weeks yet, he is very unwell. His psychiatrist said he has severe schizophrenia. They are going to change his medication, so it will be 18 weeks to get up to the desired dose!

The hospital team has been very helpful this time around and his psychiatrist has filled me in on everything and calls me whenever something changes or he needs me to come in to sign something. I feel he is in good hands this time.🤞

I have visited with my son a few times, but he is still very volatile and telling me it's my job to fix everything..

The Dr also mentioned about a metal health rehab that he can go to, while he is getting used to the medication, and learn life skills etc. That sounds wonderful to me! If only my son will agree to it...
