Saturday Soiree - all welcome!!

Well hello to anyone who's discovered this new thread .... and welcome!!!

For some time I've noticed things are a bit quiet on a Saturday, especially in the evening. So this will be a social gathering for all forumites and hopefully a place to relax and meet friends. It's also a place where you can talk about whatever's going on for you at the moment, safely, and find support.

If you want to bring something to eat or drink that would be welcome, whatever makes you happy.

Actually that may be a good place to start - jump in anywhere and let us know one thing that makes you happy - currently or over time.

Really looking forward to finding a posse to hang with on a Saturday.

@BlueBay I havent seen you around for a couple of days, and am a little concerned. Are you okay?

Busy weekend coming up for me. Got my step daughter, her husband and 2 of my grandkids visiting this weekend. They live about 6 hours drive away, so we dont get to see them much, and even less with COVID. So this is a fathers day visit, which is nice for hubby. And we are both looking forward to seeing them all.

Planning for a BBQ dinner tonight, as they wont arrive until mid afternoon most likely. At this stage the weather is warm and lovely, though some possible showers and storms predicted later. But we are just on the bottom edge of the possible rain. So I'm hoping it misses us, and it keeps further North of us.

Then tomorrow, for Fathers Day, we are being shouted lunch at a local restaurant. So I may not be around too much today or tomorrow. Visitors, especially a 7yo girl and 9yo boy, can be quite demanding ... and tiring. But delightful.
