Wow ... this is the quietest morning here since I started this thread a little over a year ago. Hard to believe it's been that long.

Wondering where everyone is today - what people are up to.

My drive went well considering how anxious I was before doing it, lots of traffic out there and some roundabouts to navigate from the right lane (which I usually avoid) and only a couple of jerks encountered. The bunnings hit was good - got some gesso to prepare surfaces for acrylic paint - I've never used it before but one of the exercises in the online retreat I'm doing mentions it - will be an interesting experiment. Yesterday I got some new acrylic paints from spotlight too. As someone said, investing in art materials is investing in self-care. Plus I got them fairly cheaply as all of it was half price.

The only problem I encountered was that (noticeably today, yesterday and in coles last weekend) the people with school-age children with them seem to disregard the social distancing principles altogether with others around them - it's making me cranky the more I see it. Yesterday walking home from spotlight it was school finishing time and we had to get through about 4 crowds of teenagers - all as close to each other as ever before covid and not making it possible to get past them without getting close or even having to go through the crowd.

It's no great wonder to me that community based transmission of the virus is starting to increase again (not only because of schools - footy, pubs, clubs, restaurants, rallies and much more has been happening the last 2 weeks or so). It won't only be Victoria that gets a 2nd wave.

Just feeling very conscious of the efforts I go to to avoid close proximity to anyone (for their benefit too not just my own) and sometimes those efforts are futile. I should probably stop ranting now.

Thanks @MDT It's scary but something I really really want to be able to do by myself again in the (not too distant I hope) future. The driving that is.

I've just done my first ever watercolour lesson and did a painting. Fairly abstract but I love the way the colours are working.

Do you do any sort of art or craft hobby?

Things haven't been great in my world I have been in a really bad mental health spot where I had to look after myself for days on end with my alters. I'm still struggling but I'll be in and out.
People have been judging me and hurting my feeling and making me lose my trust to the point where I want to hide away from the world.
I'm starting to get abit better but I'm not fully recovered yet so I'll be just doing check ins every known again until I get completely better and not so burnt out and hurt again.
