Sorry @plasmo it looks like everyone had gone by the time you posted. Hi! I got busy with family yesterday evening and didn't make it back here, then had a major drama to sort out this morning. Will be here next Saturday and you can usually find me on A long rave in the meanwhile if you want to. Had a lovely birthday but it's been eclipsed today with a hacking nightmare to sort out.

I've been hacked about two years ago. It's scary. And then all the stuff you have to do like change cards passwords etc etc.

I got an iPhone, which I'm learning how to use (steep learning curve for this little black duck).

Found the camera....took a picture of my toes and one of my blankie coverlets I have with me as I face homelessness (eye roll)....see my thread "thumb things" for the ongoing saga...

Good morning to anyone around today. I've been off the forums for a few days coz life happens. Lots of people have tagged me and I'll try to get around to you all at some stage today. But wanted to get the ball rolling here.

In case anyone isn't aware of this thread ... it's a social space to hang out on a Saturday (when the forums are often quiet) - to meet new people, find others with common ground, and to talk about what's going on for you and find support. It's also nice to share some virtual food/drink or music that you're enjoying at the moment. A big welcome to all our new community guides and to anyone who's new to the forums.

Hi there @eth , good to see you again. I too have had some time away from the forums, 9 long days in total. 😔 But it was needed, under the circumstances.

I was really sorry to hear what happened to you a week ago where your bank, phone and emails were all hacked. How awful and what a horrible feeling of violation that must have produced. A bit like having your home broken into I expect. So pleased your brother has been able to help you through the mire of rectifying the situation. Lets hope nothing like that happens again. Do you know how it happened? And is there something you can do to prevent it happening again? I can see that it would all have contributed, in a major way, to it being a really bad week for you. Fingers crossed everything is on the up again now.

Yummy looking brunch you have left us there to indulge in. I will add to the feast ... how about these? Something for everyone I hope.

Hi @Former-Member lovely to see you again. Yes I know how the hacking happened - a msg on my phone that said I had to re-set my ID account - I thought "I can do this without asking for help" .. and should have asked for it. I put in all my details as I thought it was genuine from Apple and even my bank card details. The first I knew was a 5am msg from my bank saying they had frozen my card. Felt stupid and paranoid (still do a bit).

Then spent many hours also working on my housing application and gathering evidence for it over a few days too. It's good to feel that progressing - I'm getting a lot of help from my support coordinator on it.

I hope returning is a positive thing for you - you are always much missed by many of us when you take a break. I feel being here is important for both of us (in our different situations).
