Hey @Doglover Yes I have my support workers thru' NDIS funding. There's not really a short answer to the question about how I got it. You don't have to be on DSP to get it, but you do have to prove your mental health issues are 'lifelong and significant' i.e. permanent. There's a thread I started called Anyone Started with the NDIS that is pretty long now, that I started when I first applied. 1 1/2 years to get approved and now I've had it for one year. If you want to talk more about it I'll tag you on it so you can find it and ask me any questions you have about it over there.

Thanks @eth , wow, 1.5 years to get approved is a long time! You wldnt want to b in a hurry! Glad u finally got it approved. I dont think i wld meet the criteria, not yet anyway. I think my pdoc is still expecting me to inprove and go back to work, but i dont hav muxh hope in that at the moment, not after 8 months of things just getting worse. But thanks for the thread, if i hav ne questions il ask them on that thread. Thanks @eth .
