@Maggie there's a school of thought that seems to prove itself in my experience that's about how different moon phases and astrological influences are best for different garden activities - planting, transplanting, different plant groups (e.g. root, fruit, leafy etc), even weeding and soil preparation. Permaculture has quite a bit to say about it. It dates back to pagan times and is used by many cultures.

Well what am I doing today?

Just bought a brand new crystal to work with the Ashleshla vedic star for this full moon. Ashelsha is connected to the healing properties of kundalini and the chlorite crystal I bought removes all sources of negativity from the body allowing it space to just be in a state of receptivity.

May go off and have a cleansing salt bath to clear my aura . When I jump out of the bath I feel cleansed and renewed with a fresh energised feeling! YEAH BABY!

I think thats about all. May go and sit in the sunshine for now to get some sunlight I could do with more melatonin right now.

Hi all - it's a great day for a soiree - I am feeling up to it today

Moon-planting - that's not something I am likely to do as I have a brown elbow and plant very little - I acttually took cuttings from some geraniums - 4 actually - and two are battling away - so that worked 50% well so far - and I hope they strike which would be good

But my daughter - who is a gardener by trade - used to believe in moon-planting and she has a beautiful garden - something's working - and the plants she transplanted into my garden are doing well too - in spite of smoke, drought and flooding rain

So I would hazard a guess that it does mean something - and my daughter isn't mystical about it - it's very much "Of course that works" - so why not moon-plant?

I opened my front door to see that the weather is like - smoky - windy and smoky - it's best to stay inside today

@Owlunar Dear Dec sending some of our wet weather down your way to help clear the air. @Owlunar @eth I have never heard of moon planting but I do believe in the power of the moon so might give it a try. I am having a inside day as well. :)xxx

Hi @Owlunar nice to see you too. Yes all the gardens I've seen that use the astro/moon gardening systems are flourishing and bountiful.

@Bunniekins you can buy a calendar poster that has masses of information on it re moon gardening and the year's astrological details including different activities/focus that work well at different times from the sort of shops that sell crystals etc. It's usually $15 and well worth it.
