Hey @Appleblossom and @Adge and others hovering under the support button. Not sure where the last 4 hrs went ... spoke to mum, my adult child and my sister on the phone and napped for less than an hour and the time just disappeared. Really nice to be having a home day alone today. Not sure how I'll go tonight because usually when I'm home by myself the dog is here. Will lock myself in and watch telly so I don't alert to every little sound - possum etc. Neighbours are away too. But at least sil's mum is home next door. Just feeling a little anxious as there was a nasty dv in front of our house earlier this week. Police etc. Plus the night before Oz day there will be lots of drunks around. We get them going in both directions past here in the wee hours when their pubs and clubs close. I'll leave the outside lights on too I think. That's my little rave for today.

Hope it's been a peaceful day for all. Wondering whether to keep this thread going or not. Very quiet here the last couple of weeks.

Hi @eth Yes Trauma Yoga is a "thing" now - it's called "Trauma-Sensitive Yoga".

There's a special "Certified" training for Yoga teachers, to be able to teach it.

Personally, I think adding the word "Trauma" to "Yoga" - is what makes them double the price.

It really is just ordinary Hatha Yoga, at twice the price ($30 to $50 per class), instead of $15 to $20 per class.

I'm just home from the 1st class of this trauma yoga course (6 weeks).

The background info given by this yoga teacher was much better - she gave quite a lot of explanation, which I found helpful.

The other trauma yoga course that I did a few months ago (5 weeks) - gave virtually no explanation of what we were doing (or why), despite the fact that they had promised to explain.

I have "movement-sensitive lights" (front & back), which I always leave on at night too @eth

Makes me feel a little bit safer - because I'm always at home on my own.

It may be noisy or rowdy near here, tomorrow night (Aust Day).

Although most of the rowdiness will be in the city (river foreshore) - close to where we have our Big Australia Day Fireworks Display (Oh what Mayhem)....

we had a busy day mowing next door , mowing our lawn , cutting down a dead tree in our yard , doing some trimming , alod of washing , dishes are done , vaccummed the floor
