Hello @Lesmall very sorry to hear about your cat. Hopefully the vet will attend to the wound thoroughly and not cost too much. I hear you about the big feelings this sort of thing triggers. Pets can be like our children. Try to believe it really isn't your fault. Take care.

I have been on forums for a few years but for those who don't know me my alrtner of 20 years plus has bipolar ii, anxiety, depression and undiagnosed ptsd .. I have depression on/off over the years ... I am in my mid forties, I am post car accident injury rehab (bung hip) and working full time ... pretty easy going and over think everything tho ha ha - this forum helps ground me and make me feel normal when dealing with my partners peculiarities

Hi @Sophie1 and thanks for introducing yourself. I don't see you around but perhaps you are on the carers forum mostly? I'm always over on the lived experience side these days. I was a disability carer at home for 18 years tho' so I have a lot of empathy for people currently being carers. Glad to hear the forums are helpful for you. Me too. I've been around on and off since 2014.

I have been away @TAB, overseas, and unable to post as per the forum guidelines. Our home situation imploded just before I left, and most of the kids joined me for periods of time while I was away with my disabled one and youngest in tow. My never ending story continues, with relief in one direction, and bigger hurdles in another. I am doing okay, moment to moment, and so are the kids. It’s gonna be a long haul.

Heading out for a bit, but it’s good to be back, and I will catch up with what is happening for everyone by degrees. Thanks so much to those who posted to me while I was away. I could read, but not respond.
