Saturday Soiree - all welcome!!

Good afternoon everyone 🙂

Warm afternoon here. Hope everyone is safe and well and have a fun Sat Soiree 🙂

@octavia I'm still going. Managed to get nails done and go to pool but still not good. Have been spacing out and having flashbacks and getting pain that is not pain from now but they tell me it is body remembered pain. And tried being brave on Wednesday, which stirred things up even more. Yesterday morning I coped fairly well while cuddling a little girl (10 months). Her mum did not think she could leave her, and neither had slept well the night before. She just wanted me to cuddle her (cried if she was put down or anyone else tried to take her) and went to sleep. I nearly went to sleep with her! Have not been so relaxed for ages. But then a few hours later went down again and still there. Trying anything to get through until monday.

Having nails done and swimming often help but not today. Drawing and colouring can but they have not helped either. Bought myself some choc sultanas on the way home from the pool so will have some of them and see how I go. Life at the moment is just crap. Nobody tells you when you are starting to bring things out and get counselling that you get worse before you get better, or warns you that you can feel things that were done years ago!

Sorry to be complaining and on a downer but thats where I am at the moment

@cutiepiekitty it's fine. you vent your heart out honey. it sounds like your going through a really tough time, and it's ok. we all have those days. I'll be around for the day if you need to chat about it. what are you doing today? I'm taking my step son out to lunch, he just got released from a mental health facility. we worry for him, support and guidance is all we can give to him. I just hope he takes our advice.
