I am in touch with 2 people online in Melb.

Both of them r close with their mum & theyll possibly die within next few yrs.

Mine also but thing is i feel nothing for my mother. She created a war between us. It wasnt me at all so i feel no connection to her.

I wont b going to her funeral as she has everyone hating me. Thats what ill tell them. I refuse to b surrounded by people judging without knowing the truth.

Its hard cause i want to support my 2 friends but i can only tell them the truth that i dont know what its like to be close to your parents then watch them die.

I do know grief tho. Theres a lady here that recently lost her mum. Apparently i said all the right things for her. She said i was amazing to know what it felt like.

I can only b me when my friends lose their parents.

They cant even understand how i can tolerate hearing from my mother after the way she treated me.

All i say is im not like her i cant intentionally hurt someone else. Its just not my nature.

I have never got close to anyone really.

I was completely devoted to a Swedish men for a couple of yrs but then he couldnt come into the country & stay with me. Broke my heart. Ive never really trusted ever since then.

Now everyone is busy with their families so i observe from the outside.

Its always been just me when i look back. Maybe cause i never really had a family to come from??

So there was never that sense of belonging anywhere to begin with??

Not sure but i just dont seem to belong anywhere actually

My son had 10 boys arrange a bbq send off when we left Melb but hes very slow to make friends here.

Partly the age but i do worry about him & his future cause hes only got me

Wow it is wonderfull how you could support you friends with there loss well done.

As a person who has random people tell me there life story and this is even in a supermarket line. I still only have a very small inner circle of trusted friends due to my learned experiance causing a general mistrust in people.

This would trouble me greatly especially my family relationship issues. I lost a lot of sleep due to it. But the reality is Donna1 you are obviously a very kind and composionate person who has great empathy and an ability to place your own pain aside and assist those in difficult times to cope. Well done you deserve a huge cuddle from life.

As for trust in partners and others. I fully understand your trepidation and am the same. What I am about to say is a very hard thing to train yourself to do I have been training myself for the best part of 15 years and still fail sometimes but overall I treat me better and feel less hurt by others.

I like you I believe are very loyal to people. I try not to expect great things I expect the minimum so anything I receive is a great bonus and pleasant surprise. Love is and will always be a hard thing you and I would work hard to make it work but unfortunately a lot expect it is easy. Not everyone is a poor choice but expect little it doesn't rattle you as hard and if all you get is little move on. You are a nice person the right people are out there it can take us a while to find true people.

As f or your own Family experiance I shed a tear for you and the others that have Family issues. It is so wrong in so many ways too frequent and more widespread than is acceptable. Anyone who believes gossip and does not take time to get to know Donna1 well they are the losers as they miss out on a wonderful loving caring person.
