Thems the breaks!

Thems the breaks!

Well........ I was told today that I've been considered unsuitable for the position I was chosen for by the area.
No assessment. Just on the basis of my diagnosis and past history.
None of my treating team were contacted and the letter from my psychologist was left unread.
Yes I'm a bit upset and concerned about the manner in which the decision was made but I'm OK . Fortunately my skin appears to be getting thicker as I age.
I may or may not take this matter further. Semantics can make all sorts of things that are not right, sound right.
Hugzzz to all.
Such is life eh?

Thanks @Former-Member
I agree with you however it's not a time to jump in boots and all.
There will be a review but it's something I need to research carefully before I submit my concerns. This action may nott benefit me in this instance but it might make a difference for someone else in the future.
Without doubt the process that was used was in no way an informed and balanced decision. This is my greatest concern and one that does need to be brought to the notice of those iin higher places.
I'll shall spend some time this weekend writing a draft of my concerns not in a critical manner but one which may ultimately help to break down some of the barriers.
I will of course ensure that my response examines all components to provide a considered and balanced picture of the situation. ☺

Hi @Former-Member
Do you know if similar organisations are available in other Australian states?
