Something’s not right

I'm feeling stuck right now, so I thought I should try something new

I'm feeling stuck right now, so I thought I should try something new

It's hard to explain how I'm feeling but I'll do my best to get it all out

When I'm alone I get caught up in my own thoughts, its like a big mess that I can't control. When I'm with my friends I feel like I'm pretending and making a huge effort just to show some type of emotion. Sometimes I just let others talk because its easier to stay somewhat detached. I can't slow down even though I know I'm struggling.

I've turned to my family but they keep brushing it off, saying Im too sensitive and it'll pass in time. I keep leaning on one of my friends for support but I know that I should't always rely on other people. This cycle has happened in the past and I'm afraid that even if I work out whatever is going on in my head, it'll just be back in a few weeks.

@Bentpole-01 @outlander I tried exercises to regulate my emotions a few weeks ago. I got them online. It did help with my roller coaster emotions that now I feel some peace.

Hope you will soon find some comfort and happiness.

Families are never easy.

Breath deep. We hear you.

Hi, so things have improved for me today. I got some time alone out doing some shopping. I realised my illness was in control of my reactions and thoughts. I was able to become aware of it somewhat but still don't have the ability to stop it at the moment.

My partner is very forgiving and understanding luckily.
