Not sure what to do !!!

Have not seen mum yet or spoke to her yet

She was brought back to our hospital last night late and she was asleep

So will see her today after my blood test and get her results, see what's happens next t

Mum is very sore all over and very tired

But nothing broken

The nurses have to help her with everything at the moment, keeping her in for a few days to see how she goes

Doctor told her that she can not go back home until she is back on her feet

That must be somewhat of a relief @Shaz51, though the poor thing must be feeling quite sore and I imagine maybe she would prefer to be at home with you. It sounds like the doctors are making a wise decision to keep her in a for a few days, and I hope that brings a little bit of space for you to recover from what must have been a shock 💙

Hi @Shaz51 ... really good news, and no doubt a big relief to you, that there are no broken bones after your Mums fall. And a very sensible decision on the Doctors part to keep her in hospital for a few days to allow her to get back on her feet again. A fall, even without any broken bones, shakes you up a lot. No doubt there will be bruising and many sore spots yet to present themselves. Besides that, it gives you a brief chance to catch your breath as well. I'm sure you need that. I hope you can take the opportunity for a little bit of self care. Sending some love and care your way.

Did not have any work today

So had my blood test done

Took clothes up for mum

Did the washing , vaccuming, housework

Going to Step D1 for dinner today

Relaxing at the moment

It is good that there is no broken bones or anything wrong inside

Just keeping my fingers crossed that the pain medications that they are giving her does not upset her bowel obstructions as that will not be good

Good to hear no broken bones and a stay in the care of the doctors and nurses for your mum. Oh yes the pain meds can be awful for bowels. I remember too well when I had my umbilical hernia fixed and they gave me pain meds...I will spare you the details 😎.

Hope you can get some rest now you know what's going on.

Yes part of mum's bowel died and had to be removed

She has to be careful as the scar tissues in the bowel can easily block up

She said she has not been to the toilet for 2 days soo far soo I am hoping it will be OK 🤞🤞
