Sooo tired of guilt trips all the time

It is hard

Work , pleasing people

We cut back on our workload yesterday , then get put on a guilt trip

Yes @Shaz51 I had read that you and Mr Shaz had cut back on quite a few jobs this week. I imagine with it still being so wet up there, that you may not be able to work much anyway? Has the cyclone and resulting rain gone through now? Perhaps you are getting some sunny days again by now.

Who is trying to make you feel guilty for reducing your workload and causing this guilt trip? If its Mr Shaz, I thought he wanted to reduce the workload, in fact wasnt it his idea? If its yourself ... please do not feel guilty for cutting back on your workload. You can only do so much. You have significant health issues, as does Mr Shaz. And you care 24/7 for your frail Mum. Add to that, you have the highly emotional issue of having to make decisions around rebuilding your home, etc. Its an incredibly difficult time for you right now.

So please tell me who is putting this guilt trip on you Shaz ... and I'll have a stern word with them and tell them to back off. 😊💕 Can you survive adequately on your Carers pension for now Shaz?

Mum has been in hospital for about a week following a 2nd fall in 3 days. My brother and sister had a meeting with one of the docs and the physio. It looks like the plan is to get her into respite with a view to full time residential care. If after respite/rehab she wants to go back home, there will need to be an OT assessment and possible home modifications done to facilitate that.

While vacuuming at someone place,, my vaccum blew up, smoke everywhere 😩

Oh @Shaz51 That sounds a bit scary.

As well as meaning that you couldn't finish the job - & now you don't have a Vacuum Cleaner (oh)....

I've been dealing with a blocked Shower Drain (all last week) - That was shock enough for me.

The entire Bath filled up with water, every time I tried to have a Quick Shower.

I hope a new Vacuum doesn't cost you too much $.

We had 2 vaccum, so Mr shaz vaccumed and I washed the floor @Adge
