The way things are for us at the moment, I'm just wasting energy and choking in frustration to try to get anyone to do anything around here ..... so I'm back to my big, cheap laundry basket system of stacking things out of my way, and in the vicinity of the bedroom of anyone's stuff I can identify .... and clearly marked "their problem" in my mind .....
At least the main living areas are kept presentable enough, and the household is operational, if not ideal.
While I'm not getting support with the general household, I am happy for them all to do their own washing as they run out of clothes. When they ask for a lift to or from somewhere, I let them know I need to stop into the shops for a few things, then I park out the front and ask them to run in and pick up the bread, milk, bananas, Nachos ingredients, etc .... it means they're helping with the shopping without really realising it .... 😊
Gotta be a bit cunning with these baby dragons ....
