The Beer Garden

The Beer Garden

i encourage you all to join me for some casual drinking, social lubrication and light laughter right here in the beer garden.

Oh and before anyone gets up in arms about alcohol and its dangers the main beer on tap is VB or virtual beer

beer is the third most commonly consumed drink in the world behind water and tea

why not share the worlds joy with friends

Hey @Silenus

I'll do the shearing and spin the fleece for you. Although from memory Alpacas have hair like Angora goats. Shearing an alpaca can't be too different from angoras. I used to do the classing too but it's neen quite a while now.

Re: The Beer Garden

Hi everyone

I think I feel like a tequila sunrise. I have just come back from a walk in the cold fresh air. Oh it was so nice, no rain. Jersey my kelpie loved her walk. It was better than staying inside with the heater on.

My headache has gone now, so I will take that drink, pls. 🙂

Hmm @Silenus

I'll have to get a new wheel. I have mine which was my Mums and Nannas to my sil when I downsized
Spinning is an amazingly calming craft although it can be hard on the back.

Re: The Beer Garden

That's great @BlueBay

My parents had kelpies. They were very energetic... full of bounce and vigour... hahaha... you know those tennis ball throwing thingies? I nearly buggered my shoulder one day, throwing it for mum and dad's 2 dogs Rex and Hilda... I broke them though... they slept all day after that... hahaha... fun times... I loved those doggies... they've passed now...

Re: The Beer Garden

Hi All,
can I have whiskey, no rocks please. That storm is unsettling me. We had 250mm since yesterday morning. Stayed inside all weekend. Also talked to my mum, that always adds to me being unsettled. Make it a double!
Cheers all!
