Thanks for the callouts today @Former-Member@TAB@Former-Member@Former-Member and hello to everyone else.
Sorry that I didn't join in. After being out shopping for hours again today, I just felt like relaxing when I came home.
Hi to @Moje and @mandy84 Would be nice to chat some other time. I'm guessing that eveyone is asleep now and that's what I'll be doing very soon.
Hi to @Lostboy Thankyou for your message. I will reply another time, very late now. Thanks for thinking of me. Glad that you join in when you feel up to it.
Nighty night all.

Re: The Beer Garden
Wow @Former-Member !!!!!
I was told by my counsellor, between bubs, that I should go to an half-way house, one coming up in two weeks. She figured that would 'wake him up".
I totally knew she was wrong, as I was trying to fix the marriage (well, that was my job, if not working, my fault), and left her for another counsellor.
Twenty years later I finally realised she was correct. Please, don't leave it that long. Things don't change if nothing changes.
No, the ex is basically a good guy, but, we don't match, and somehow, he has the idea he can treat me with disrespect and control, and all is good.
I'm the only one he treats like that, so made it harder to realise it wasn't me at fault.
Over the past few years, I am getting stronger, still a ways to go, but happier, as in , more content, than I ever was.
I only realised a year or so back, that all those years I'd lived in fear, and it was all verbal/emotional abuse, not physical. Free of fear is a really weird feeling, but good weird 😉

Re: The Beer Garden
I'm so sorry @Former-Member that I missed you last night. I was so tired and needed to sleep. I'd hardly slept for the past two nights but I did last night. Phew 😅. I had a good day yesterday which was the first for a while.
Im so pleased for you that you've nearly finished your training for the volunteering. It's so good to hear you sounding more positive but I understand when you are not too. It's the ebb and flow of our MI. It will be exciting when you volunteer there officially.
Ive had such a good sleep but seem to be struggling to feel ok today grr. I'm meeting my friend to go to the shopping centre soon. I have new glasses to pick up, I'm a bit scared as they are my first pair of multi focal lenses so apparently they take a bit of time getting used to. I will probably be quiet on the forum today as I have a lot to prepare for my therapist session tomorrow and need to put my writing energy in to that. I promised her over a week ago I would write down lots of things for her and haven't managed it yet.
